Diane's theme at Mixed Media Monday (Monday in Aussie ) is 'tell me a story'. My story is about Diane....a woman who has through her many years of art contribution helped to continuously draw many of us out of ourselves. The creative journey and process can be difficult at times but Diane always manages to impart a level of relaxed freedom...and yet still always challenged ;]
I for some reason thought the theme was flowers at Wednesday Stamper! Turns out it's purple and green.........so I have pink and green, lol! Turns out it was ATC Wednesday that is flowers......so here's my torso tag for for half of each theme ;}
I love the magic of how our apples begin..and I wait very patiently every year to once again enjoy the delicate beauty of this unique pink and green combination.

This is my first MMM challenge piece in some time! I was determined to get a little something completed. This Rolodex card (my newest addiction) is layered with map paper, gesso, a gel medium transfer little Tessa from PID (that I had issues with) and glitzed at the left side with micro beads and embossing powder. A blue bird transfer, ribbon and a paper flower with the word fly and inked edges.
For the transfer technique I used the gorgeous flourish rub on transfers from Basic Grey.......collage image from Paper Imagery Designs. Quote stamp from SU!
