Diaphanous Wings

Diane's theme at Mixed Media Monday (Monday in Aussie ) is 'tell me a story'. My story is about Diane....a woman who has through her many years of art contribution helped to continuously draw many of us out of ourselves. The creative journey and process can be difficult at times but Diane always manages to impart a level of relaxed freedom...and yet still always challenged ;]

I realize that many may find this rather somber and perhaps not typical......but I completely find the beauty and the symbolism of the 'empty nest' quite fitting. I promise to post pretty, happy things next.......but as I always say........this is the result of my inspiration......and if I allow myself for one moment not to honour my true heart........well what's the point?
